Silver Spurs

Kids and horses - it's a great combination! Just ask any 4-H member who is involved in the 4-H Horse Club and they'll tell you, joining a 4-H Horse Club is a great way to learn more about your horse and have fun while learning.

The Butler County 4-H Silver Spurs Horse Club and District 6 counties sponsor year-round activities for club members. There are horse shows, horse drill teams, horse bowl teams, horse camps, horse clinics, horse arts and crafts, and even a speech and demonstration competition about horses. You can pick and choose what you would like to do.  Check out the links below for more info on what's happening!

Owning a horse is not a requirement to participate in the  4-H Horse Program. Many members lease horses to show, or they may participate in the many other non-horse activities.

Don't forget - 4-H is a family oriented program.  Parents are encouraged to come to the meetings!
